AWESOME!! That is what the fishing was like on Cedar Lake today. Although my partner(Darrell Calhoun) and I did not get a check, the "FAT GIRLS" were eating today. As we can only weigh in 2 over the 18 inch and 4 under the 14 inch limit, we caught 6 over fish. Haven't figured out how to catch the under 14 inch fish. This is sad, today while fishin usually you hope for a good fish to bite, but we needed the under fish. Here you are catchin fish from 3.5 lbs to 5.5 lbs and wanting a 1.25 lb fish. We got a good laugh from that today. The water is from 41.7 to 45.1 degrees with a little color. The air temp today was a "BONE CHILLIN" 29 degrees. Sky was overcast and flurries. Wind was SSW around 10 some little gust. Darrell and I weighed in 2 fish for 10.87 lbs. We caught them on jerkbaits all day, catching a total of 7 fish. My best calculation for our biggest 5 girls would be between 22.5 to 22.75 lbs. Weighed the others on a x-tools scale. Like I said AWESOME!! Next tourney is JAN 3rd.
